Toddson Todgers

The musical alias of bedroom pop revivalist Jason Causey, Toddson Todgers stirs up creative synth patterns and catchy pop earworms for a new and unique brand of electronica. Causey got his start on SoundCloud before releasing his debut, S.H.A.F.T., in 2021. On S.H.AF.T., Causey combines an ear for hooks with a pen for comedy, making for a light-hearted and rejuvenating listen.

Toddson Todgers' lyrical debut is an ironically joyous piece of danceable synth pop. Producer Jason Causey dresses up the anticapitalistic critique at the song's core with layers of anthemic vocals and glistening synths. "Waste Away" is a comforting reflection of the human need to be true to yourself.

The semi-ironic self-empowerment continues on “Loser” as Toddson Todgers drags the listener up from the awkward and destructive pit of depression with swirling riffs and the assistance of a dynamic vocal performance from Mapper.
